Me, if I were a six-word story descriptor:

Philosophically confused, morally ambiguous, socially awkward.

I like to write. I like to create people, places, stories, and mindsets. I write from my own experiences, but, as a creative, I admit that many of my experiences can be as made up as they are real. I love to learn about anything and everything, and I aspire to be great at most things that I do. Please know that I am appreciative of all feedback.
Well met and season's greetings,

I sincerely hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and wish everyone a happy and adventurous 2015!

Aside from the normal new year's resolutions of eating less, exercising more, replace bad habits with good habits sort of things that I PROMISE I'll take more seriously, but never really do, I'd like to make a real commitment to staying creative this year. Not hard to do. I have a overly wild imagination as it is. But, this year, I'd like to funnel it into something. Nothing big. But, more of a commitment to ACTUALLY FINISH SOMETHING!!!

I've taken down much of my previous work because: due to some computer struggles involving a well-known antivirus software deleting many of my work files in some sort of glitchy act of pc terrorism (I was terrified at least...), I have lost the original files for many of my previous projects. That was a while ago, but I have now taken to opportunity to start over. Get rid of my annoying old watermarks. And, work on new things. Lesson learned, I also bought a couple external hard drives for backup and storage purposes.

Long story short, PREPARE YOURSELF!!! My goal in this new year is to post a little more. I'd like to start a monthly serial fiction, based on some projects that I have been working on recently. Monthly may be a little too aggressive just yet, so we'll see where that goes. I'll also be diligently working on my HDR digital processing technique and sharing some new projects here soon. That being said, I'll probably be more active on this site going forward (at least in the foreseeable future), so feel free to message or comment if you want. I'll be more responsive, promise! Let me know how your holidays were.

Lastly, a bit of nonsense.....

Humans...that is the topic of the hour, right? Humans do this, humans do that. Crowds of humans throng themselves all over the place; spilling themselves and their problems all over the place. Is the answer forces celibacy? Who knows? One thing I know is this...It's damn annoying!!! Join me in the fight against ourselves!!!

My pleasure. Your work is very good. You do a terrific job of taking sometimes what looks to be an "average" landscape and compositing it into a beautiful photo. It's inspirational for someone like me, who lives somewhere that I biasedly think is beautiful (but probably "average" in most people's eyes) and would like to take gorgeous photos of the area to show it off. I'm only armed with a point n' shoot camera (it takes pretty hi res quality images in the right settings at least), but maybe with some practice and watching some of your work, I'll get there.

I think you are right.  I always tell my students that it is not necessary to have an expensive camera to take good pictures.  What is important is a full range of settings, (shutter and aperture).  And even if the camera does not have a full range, with practice good pictures are possible in many situations.  In my mind it is important to get the best you can out of the current equipment before buying more.  In my experience, too many people buy a lot of equipment and then become overwhelmed with all the functions.  Often they give up.  So just keep on with what you have for now.  And post those pictures of your area, I am sure many will find them interesting.
